Start-Up Activity
Set up two chairs in the front of your classroom. Sit down in one chair and inform students that they now will have a chance to interview you. Note that an interview is when you ask someone a series of questions. Pick a volunteer to sit across from you and ask the first interview question. The student should remain seated until you finish answering. Then have another volunteer switch places with the first volunteer and ask you another question. Repeat this activity with other volunteers as time permits.
Think About It
“I sometimes find that in interviews you learn more about yourself than the person learned about you.”
