Poodles

What is curly, weighs about 5-50 pounds and is man’s best friend? It is poodles.

Poodles first come from Germany. They used poodles for water retrievers. Poodle means paddle and splash. Some people called them France poodles. But they didn’t come from France.

Poodles take care of themselves. They make good pets if you live in a apartment. Small dogs in a apartment don’t take up much space. They are small pets when they go outside all they needed is a sweater or a thin jacket. Poodles get there exercise from running around the house or a apartment. They don’t eat alot.

They are good pets. They sleep during the loudest storm all day. Some of the poodles are sporting dogs because they are such great companions. The breed poodles work very closely to their human partners.

Different types of poodles have different appearances. Poodles have a long muzzle, hanging ears, tail docked and the coat is long. When they stand, poodles they are 38 cm at there shoulders. Miniatures when they are standing are 25 cm high.

Poodles used for show are only one color. If they are more than one color they will be killed.

Poodles are man’s best friend, they make good pets.
