Cause-Effect Essay

In this cause-effect essay, Jamaine Reilly writes about the cause of gravity and its many effects.

What Causes Gravity?

Beginning:
The beginning introduces the topic and states the thesis (underlined).
The story goes that Sir Isaac Newton was sitting under a tree when an apple fell on his head. He wondered why, and his answer was “gravity.” Newton then came up with an equation for the force of gravity, but he still didn’t understand how this force could work at a distance. How did the Earth know the apple was there? Einstein helped us understand the cause of gravity, and knowing the cause helps us understand its many effects.
