Using Words Correctly 2

Watch out for these commonly confused words.
- bring, take: Bring means to carry toward the speaker. Take means to carry away from the speaker.
Bring your bat here to home plate and take a swing.
- chose, choose: Chose means to select in the past (long O sound). Choose means to select in the present (long U sound).
Yesterday, when we chose teams for baseball, I made sure to choose Lucia.
- doesn't, don't: Doesn't equals "does not." Don't equals "do not."
At the plate, she doesn't miss. Unfortunately, I don't hit.
