Using Pronoun Person
A first-person pronoun refers to the speaker—I, me, my, mine, we, us, our, ours.
I received my first job this summer mowing lawns.
(The pronouns I and my are first person and singular.)
A second-person pronoun names the person or thing being spoken to—you, your, yours.
You need to be a diligent worker.
(The pronoun you is second person and singular.)
