Using Progressive and Perfect Tenses

A progressive-tense verb expresses ongoing action. It is formed from a be verb (is, am, are, was, were, will be) plus an ing verb.

Present Progressive: My friend Hina and I are making a movie together.

Past Progressive: We were brainstorming plot ideas all spring.

Future Progressive: We will be filming the movie all summer.
