Using Commas with Intro Words

breakfast

Some sentences start with intro words.

For breakfast I like eggs.

       ("For breakfast" introduces the sentence.)

When you have four or more intro words, place a comma after them.

On the other hand, my cousin likes crepes.

(A comma follows "On the other hand" and helps readers find the subject—"cousin.")
