Focusing the Brain

Student Reflection

  • Find a soothing bell, or think of a relaxing word.
  • Sit upright with your feet flat on the floor.
  • Close your eyes and strike the bell or speak the word.
  • Breathe deeply and focus on the sound or word. (You can also focus on your breathing.)
  • Repeat twice more.
  • Open your eyes. How do you feel?
